CRG Booster Club Board Meeting Minutes
November 9, 2011
President’s Report:
Exciting things going on: See the information below on all the events planned for DU and others
Gifts for Coaches: Birthday gifts for Linda and Lexy will continue. For all others, parents and gymnasts can do what they want. Email will go out at the beginning of each month so all know of the coach’s birthdays. Coach’s birthdays will also be listed on the Booster Club Calendar.
Coach’s Fees: Lexy agreed to provide a copy/statement of the payout of fees for each meet. Kiora will receive and will make it known to all booster club members.
Treasurer’s Report: A total of $5,000 has been given to Lexi for coaches fees so far.
Duffy Rolls Fundraiser:
Thanks to all the gymnasts and parents for all their efforts. $1,000 was raised!!!! This has been one of the most successful fundraisers we have had. A small gift will be given to the gymnast that sold the most rolls.
Delivery/Pick-Up: The Duffy Rolls will be delivered to the gym on November 16th at 3:00pm. We need help to get the rolls ready for parents to pick up. Pick-up will be available from 4:15pm-5:30pm. An email will go out to the parents so they are aware of these times.

Dates for the meets and CRSG participation is outlined here:
January 28th- CRSG to perform
February 4th-Board Member gymnasts will decorate the DU locker room. Since this is the first time CRSG has been invited to do this, the Board Moms and their gymnasts will be needed so we can understand what is involved and can open it up to the rest of the team members on the next opportunity. Also, runners and flashers will be needed for this meet. Raffle tickets of $1/ticket will be sold for the gymnasts who want to be on the gym floor and have a front row seat to watch the competition and work with the judges. The first name selected will get to choose which event they want to work with. All others selected will be assigned to a particular station.
February 25th: Military Appreciation Night. CRSG is leading the effort to sell out this event. The Booster Club will provide information to other local gyms to sell 2000 tix for this evening. All active military will have free admission. Recognition for all military groups will be seen throughout this event.
March 17th – CRSG to perform
For the 2 performance dates, Lexy will select the teams for each event.
Raffle Fundraiser for Commuter Camp: The DU Gymnastics Team has donated a free Commuter Camp opportunity for 1 gymnast. We will sell raffle tickets at $10/ticket from November 17th – December 14th. The value of this camp is $500. The winner’s parents will be notified in the event that this is a present that will be given to their gymnast. Following Christmas, the winner’s name will be announced so all will know who won the raffle.
DU Gymnast Support: The team Moms will work with their teams by selecting 1-2 DU gymnasts and create a poster/cheer/etc .so our gym will support each of the DU gymnasts at the meets. They will appreciate the support and this will go a long way to show how much our gym appreciates the DU gymnasts.
Vendor Day: January 14th This will occur immediately following the Snowball Fun Meet and run for 3 hours. Irene will draft a letter to the vendors. Diane will work on the layout and the booster club will have a bake sale. More info to come on this event.
Hair-Raiser Event: This is the Locks of Love event that Betsy is organizing. If you have an idea of what can be done during the hair cutting event, please forward to the booster club. The thought is to do some type of exhibition while the girls get their hair cut.
Fundraisers:
King Soopers Gift Card– ongoing. Cards will be sold at the Vendor Day
Tana Dolce- This is something new we are trying. Tana Dolce is a restaurant/wine bar/spa located in downtown Castle Rock. Beauty Bar event which includes mini facials, eye brow waxing, neck massage, foot reflexology and make-up stations will be available. Heavy appetizers and drink tickets will be available with purchase of the Beauty Bar package. More info to follow as the event will occur in early March.
Scripts- This is a gift card fundraiser where if you want to purchase gift cards, you will be able to do it on-line and a % of sales will be given back to the booster club. This has been a very successful fundraiser for schools in the area. We hope this can be an on-going fundraiser that could be as successful as the King Soopers Gift Card fundraiser.
